Job Description Overview :
Client is seeking a talented Project Landscape Architect, Civil Engineer, or Site Designer to join our team. This role will support a diverse range of projects across Montana and the Western U.S. The successful candidate may be based at any of Client's Montana locations and will have access to a flexible work schedule and hybrid work options upon completing the onboarding period.
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing concepts, plans, specifications, construction bid packages, and technical reports . There is also potential for project management and mentorship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop 2D and 3D site designs for various clients and projects.
Generate plans and details for site features , ensuring compliance with local ordinances and client requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to develop creative and functional site layouts .
Assist in the preparation of construction bid packages and technical reports .
Provide expertise in grading design, low-impact infrastructure, and sustainable design .
Utilize GIS software, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other design tools to enhance project deliverables.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field .
Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoDesk products such as Civil3D .
Experience with GIS software and Adobe Creative Suite .
Excellent communication and technical writing skills .
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications :
5 years of directly applicable experience.
Proficiency in Lumion, SketchUp, and / or LandFX .
Landscape Architect (LA) license is a plus but not required.
Experience with grading design and low-impact infrastructure design .
Regional plant and horticulture knowledge is a plus.
