Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Subject Matter Expert (SME1) with over 10 years of relevant experience to consult on business needs and deliver actionable solutions. This role involves working closely with executive-level stakeholders, conducting in-depth research, and crafting solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with stakeholders to define business problems and identify solutions.
- Conduct studies, surveys, and research to gather and analyze data.
- Provide expert recommendations, leveraging knowledge of specific disciplines, theories, and technologies.
- Advise on alternative solutions, methods, or processes to address business challenges.
- Draft, review, and manage Statements of Work (SOW) for various projects, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, legal, and technical experts.
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT operations.
- Manage procurement processes and maintain comprehensive records of vendor evaluations and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (advanced study preferred).
- Extensive experience in consulting for government entities and industry-specific subject matter expertise.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management and cross-functional team coordination.
- Familiarity with IT processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience in writing and structuring contracts, especially in procurement processes.
