We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our vibrant office in California, Maryland. In this dynamic, 100% onsite role, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring everything flows seamlessly and our team is supported every step of the way. - Provide administrative support to senior staff, and other staff as directed, in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. This will require the use and knowledge of applications such as, but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ensure all visitors sign in and are issued a badge.
- Answer all phone calls- screen and direct calls accordingly.
- Maintain multiple conference room calendars as well as provide resources needed for meeting to take place.
- Coordinate shipping logistics and package deliveries.
- Provide assistance to event planning.
- Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies and snacks for multiple office locations. This will require the use and understanding of online ordering through our databases and sources.
- Other supplies may be needed for on-site conferences, meetings, etc.
- Work closely with Building Manager, Engineer, and Security to maintain a safe and efficient workable space.
- Support the recruitment process as needed.
- Attend meetings accordingly.
- Maintain a welcoming, comfortable, organized environment for employees and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience may be able to substitute for degree.
- At least five (5) or more years of experience in a professional office environment or customer service preferred.
- Ability to hold an active Secret clearance.
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Able to work independently.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previously provided administrative support in a government contractor setting preferred.
