What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at VTG?
Overview:
VTG is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Virginia Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in scheduling and arranges for delivery of material and equipment for prefabrication and subsequent delivery to the installation site.
- Monitors availability of material, equipment, and tools to ensure that the proper resources are available as needed.
- Ensures that disposition of excess material is accomplished in accordance with direction from the Project Manager.
- Monitors POA&M progress and assists with EVMS.
- Coordinates with Resource Manger for required training requirements.
- Initiates travel requests and ensures submission of expense reports.
- Initiates requests for Field Purchase Reports.
- Assists in obtaining, tracking, and reporting of information required for daily, weekly, and monthly reports, Task Order closeout, and other deliverables.
- Assists in the development of the T&I Book.
- Provides personnel information to Security for visit requests.
- Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior defense contracting or military experience preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Security clearance, valid driver's license
- Some travel required
