What are the responsibilities and job description for the Archaeology Lab Assistant-Student Employment (Workstudy Eligibility Preferred) position at VTSU?
The Archaeology Lab Assistant will assist with analysis and documentation of materials collected by the Castleton Hidden History Project and the South Champlain Historical Ecology Project. Tasks will include (but are not limited to) cleaning, analyzing, repairing, cataloging, and photographing artifacts. The Archaeology Lab Assistant must be responsible and detail oriented. Some familiarity with working with archaeological materials is ideal, but any needed training will be provided.
