This work study opportunity is for Vermont State University current students and is located at the Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) in Rutland, VT . Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is a non-profit organization which focuses on economic development in Rutland County, including ways to attract young professionals and recent college graduates to live, work, and play in this region. CEDRR is currently looking for an energetic photography and videography student to work part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) developing new content for the Regional Marketing Initiative.
INTERNS WILL LEARN AND BE EXPOSED TO:
· A variety of professional networking opportunities
· Real world knowledge and experience within a regional marketing campaign
· Relationship building opportunities with multiple representatives of the business community and leaders throughout Rutland County
· Participation in regular staff, committee, and board meetings as schedule allow
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in scheduling photo/video shoots throughout Rutland County
2. Travel and capture photos/videos from various individuals/locations within Rutland County
3. Produce fresh marketing content for CEDRR staff to utilize within the Regional Marketing Initiative
4. Work with CEDRR staff to develop a wide diversity of new marketing content
5. Provide perspective for CEDRR projects and discussions
6. Attend weekly check-ins with CEDRR staff and the CEDRR staff meeting once a month
7. Exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
8. Other general duties as assigned
Site supervision provided by the Chamber and Economic Development of Rutland Region. Vermont State University supervision will be provided by student academic advisor.
