Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor: therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Facility Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating contractors, overseeing temporary employees, managing landscape conditions, setting up and cleaning for special occasions, ordering supplies, directing all facility repairs, and overseeing vendors. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Oversee temporary employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and maintain landscape conditions to ensure a clean and attractive environment.
- Set up and clean for special occasions, ensuring all arrangements are in place.
- Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Direct all facility repairs, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Oversee vendors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver quality services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- SAP Experience
- Proven experience in facility management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
