About the Opportunity :
We are hiring a FP&A Manager, based in the Oakland area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor of the finance team and work for a company experiencing a period of rapid growth. You'll be responsible for the consolidation of our P&L and be the finance business partner to departments in G&A and R&D. This is a high impact, individual contributor role that will drive key business decisions and be a force in VuMedi's growth trajectory.
What You'll Do :
- Be a strategic business partner to leaders in G&A and R&D departments. This includes end to end P&L forecasting (HC & OpEx planning), annual planning, budget vs. actual variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling support.
- Own the consolidation of the P&L and Balance Sheet forecast. Be the point person for the day to day maintenance of VuMedi's financial model.
- Be our Adaptive Planning power user. Know our instance inside and out and continually develop and implement improvements.
- Support and drive the generation of monthly and quarterly reports for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by identifying inefficiencies or excess spending.
- Assist in long-term strategic planning, including annual planning, trends within our industry, and competitive analysis.
- Work to continuously develop and improve existing FP&A processes.
