What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Designer Womens Fitness position at Vuori, Inc?
We are seeking an Associate Designer to support the development & execution of the Vuori Womens Fitness team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the team as design process for assigned product categories including but not limited to : concept research design tech sketch creation trim selection fitting and finessing product. To be effective in this role the individual must be eager to learn and support the team in any way needed have an eye for elevated design and have a basic understanding of Vuori aesthetics. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the performance apparel space Vuoris mission and will embody the brands values.
As an Associate Designer on the Womens Design Team at Vuori Clothing you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative stylish and functional apparel and accessories for our customers.
Qualifications :

- Supporting Fitness Team with day to day needs as well as throughout the design process.
- Managing an assortment of styles within your category working closely with senior team members to develop designinformed solutions for our customers.
- Researching preseason trends style inspiration fabrics and trims.
- Maintaining an understanding of the cultural and competitive market trends as they relate to the Vuori customer.
- Integrating market knowledge trend research and insights from our community to create designs that are functional innovative and with high execution.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of apparel market trends and competitive landscape
- Maintaining organization of categorys inspiration closet
- Attending and assist in fittings taking notes as needed
- Ability to communicate ideas through sketching and CAD
- Technical sketch creation & updates using Illustrator
- Ensuring the accurate communication of design intent through the fitting process collaborating with the inhouse team to create mockups and prototypes.
- Promoting teamwork and clear communication within the Product crossfunctional teams including Development Technical Design Merchandising and Materials.
- Maintaining keen attention to detail throughout the product development process to create technically excellent performance apparel and accessories that seamlessly blend style and function.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and staying organized.
