Job Description
The Retail Store Floor Lead at Vuori serves as a role model for sales team members, building connections with customers while communicating our brand values through product knowledge and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will encourage their team to maintain high standards in retail sales and customer experiences. As part of the store leadership team, the Floor Lead supervises the sales floor, delegates tasks, and takes initiative under the direction of the Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Create unforgettable customer experiences by working with the sales team to ensure each customer receives exceptional service.
- Take ownership of the sales floor and sales team to prioritize customer experience above all else.
- Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest knowledgeable feedback to customers about merchandise style and fit.
- Be knowledgeable about new and best-selling products and share this information with both customers and team members.
Leadership/Ownership:
- Lead the team on day-to-day operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is not present.
- Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
- Seek out new product knowledge in the fashion landscape to serve as an expert for customers.
- Oversee the completion of projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
- Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Qualifications:
- Able to work flexible schedules, including mornings and evenings, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with at least one weekend day available.
- Punctual and reliable, adhering to scheduled shifts.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent customer service skills, creating memorable experiences and developing lasting relationships with customers.
