Job Summary:
As the Strategic Sourcing Leader, you would define and implement the sourcing strategy for major spending categories across the Vytl Controls Group portfolio. You would be responsible for driving both direct and indirect material cost reduction initiatives to improve EBITDA. You need to ensure supplier development strategies are aligned with the specific business unit requirements whilst driving leverage through cross-business unit synergies. You will need to work closely with key stakeholders internally and build long-term strategy & execute tactical short-term actions aligned with strategic objectives. You will need to strengthen existing supplier partnerships as well as build new ones in line with the strategy.

Lead Strategy Development
- Market trend analysis, external benchmarking
- Collaborate and influence stakeholders and peers to develop commodity strategy.
- Commodity segmentation – strategic, leverage, critical, non-critical
- Supplier segmentation – Invest, Grow, Maintain, Exit.
- Detail out strategic actions aligned with segmentation.
- Perform Spend analysis, should costing to determine target costs and develop a contracting plan.
- Develop market baskets and associated bid strategies.
- Execute bid strategies – RFQ, quote review, negotiations, both commercial and contracts.
- Program management of post-award activities – pricing changes, part transition including qualification, cut in management.
- Track and report material cost productivity for respective spend categories.
- Establish and drive a comprehensive Supplier Excellence Program to ensure the holistic performance of suppliers.
- Lead supplier risk assessment, performance and compliance monitoring, and ongoing supplier improvement program management and governance.
- Drive rigor in supplier management cadence, including governance, relationship management, and reporting.
- Ongoing supplier contract management, including managing change & revision, enforcing punitive damages, and potential terminations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, MBA desired.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience within the areas of procurement, sourcing or supply chain management, preferably from a global company
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commodity Management
- Excellent understanding & working knowledge of cost analysis should cost and price analysis concepts.
- Strong business acumen and a good understanding of business finance
- Good negotiator with strong analytical and outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in complex and/or ambiguous business environments. History of building strong client and supplier relationships
- Demonstrate Global/multicultural acumen … experience in dealing with suppliers in China, Korea, India, and Taiwan.
