Job Purpose :

As our team's Learning and Development Coordinator, you will coordinate in-person training events and collaborate closely with leaders to communicate the details of their events.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position has no direct reports.

Essential Functions :

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of training programs, workshops, and focus groups.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking all necessary reservations.
  • Maintain and update training materials and resources.
  • Ensure that all training materials are accessible to the relevant parties.
  • Arranges transportation.
  • Collect feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of programs.
  • Maintain training records and ensure all required individuals have attended.
  • Answer phones for the Human Resources Department as needed.
  • All other tasks as requested.

  • Knowledge of learning and development basics.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Skilled in providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone.
  • Ability to listen and communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Work Environment :

    Generally, works in an office environment and visits work sites as needed.

    Travel Requirements :

    Ability to travel up to 25% of work time.

    Required education and experience :

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a customer-facing administrative or coordination role.
  • Preferred education and experience :

  • Associate's degree in learning development, organizational development, or psychology preferred.  A combination of equivalent education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
  • Additional eligibility requirements :

    No other eligibility requirements.

    Work authorization requirements :

    Must meet I-9 requirements.
