What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Professional position at W&B HEALTHCARE INC?
Duties:
- Provide support for individuals with Substance Abuse and or Mental Health
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene
- Implement individualized behavior plans and strategies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care
- Administer first aid as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the group environment
- Advocate for client rights and ensure their dignity is respected
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Document observations, progress, and incidents accurately
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with substance abuse or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to administer basic medical care
- Understanding of client rights and ability to advocate for them
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow systems and protocols
Note: This position may require additional qualifications such as being registerd with the NCSAPPB or having specific certifications
