W.C. English, Inc. is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for a project in the Clover, VA area.
Applicants will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Provide assistance to the Superintendent in relation to project oversight and coordination on-site for project and construction activity,
- Review construction plans and specifications,
- Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies as approved by the Project Manager and Superintendent,
- Preparing bills, time cards, accident reports, and / or other documents,
- Record-keeping,
- Participate in the preparation, review, and compliance of change orders and applications for payment, and
- Perform administrative tasks relating to the above responsibilities.
Applicants must have two forms of valid identification and must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. A qualified individual should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Construction Management, or possess related field experience. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel) is vital. Experience with Project Management software, like AutoCAD and Primavera6, is preferred.
