Description:
Would you like to spend the summer outside? Then come join our maintenance crew! You will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of over 1,300 varieties. As you gain experience, you may also take on
additional responsibilities, which may involve more detailed work in the future. Note that this position may
require endurance and good physical condition at times, as well as the ability to remain in one place for
extended periods. It also requires work to be done in all weather conditions. You may be asked to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds repeatedly. If you are interested in these tasks or would like to learn more about

Responsibilities:
- Cutting back
- Weeding
- Communicating inventory updates
- Ensuring the nursery is well-maintained and presents a tidy appearance
You may be asked to perform other tasks in different areas of the nursery.
Requirements:
- Ability to repeatedly lift approximately 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand in one place for extended periods and
- Ability to move all day
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to operate farm tractors is a plus
- Ability to speak or understand Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of plants, especially perennials is a plus
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures is a plus, but training is performed annually (safety gear will be provided as needed)
