What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Softscape/Maintenance Foreman position at Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop, Inc.?
Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop, Inc. is currently looking for a Landscape Softscape & Maintenance Foreperson to work with our construction team. The ideal candidate is an upbeat, detail-oriented, self-starter with a minimum of three years of landscape maintenance or construction experience. This rewarding opportunity requires the ability to:
- Read blueprints and lay out jobsites
- Perform and supervise landscape construction - Tasks vary and may include (but not limited to): planting, mulching, pruning and maintenance
- Train, motivate and supervise 3-5 landscape laborers
- Track material and labor use on a daily basis
- Safely operate equipment (skid loader, mini-excavator, small engine equipment, trucks, trailers, etc)
- Perform daily equipment maintenance (check fluids, clean air filters, etc.)
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
