Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping projects while supervising team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, irrigation systems, and tree care.
- Plan and execute landscape projects, including the installation of gardens and other outdoor features.
- Train team members on best practices for landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the team to ensure it meets company standards.
- Maintain equipment and tools used in landscaping operations to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate with clients regarding project updates and any necessary adjustments to plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques, groundskeeping practices, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with landscaping work, including lifting heavy materials.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation to job sites.
