Job Description: As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the billing process for our team. Your duties will include ensuring billing accuracy. You will collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues and provide excellent team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Billing Reconciliations for inconsistencies or errors.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Ensure that billing practices adhere to the companies procedures.
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and standards.
- Backup the AR Specialist in making and recording deposits.
- Backup the AR Specialist in Cash Treasury Reporting.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry and organizing files.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data and detect patterns or irregularities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
