Your responsibilities as a CNC Machine Operator include the ability to:
- Set up and run existing programs for CNC Lynx and Puma
- Setting up for and prove-out of newly engineered components
- Ensure quality of complex machined parts
- Maintain production and quality records
- Capable of running one or more machines
- Communicate tooling and material needs to production lead
- Work within a team environment to ensure shop success
- Participate in cross training across other machines
- Meet or exceed production output goals
- Minimum two years CNC Lathe setup and operating experience
- Ability to perform quality checks using a variety of tools
- Ability to dry run new programs and troubleshoot errors with guidance
- A basic understanding of G-code
- A working understanding of lathe tooling
- Trade school training, or sufficient on the job training to perform primary duties
- Experience working with a Doosan mill turn machine or with Fanuc controls
- Experience operating CNC mills
- A working knowledge of G-code
