The Production Control Manager plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of production scheduling, material receipt, warehousing, kitting, and delivery within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring production schedules align with customer needs and available resources, managing inventory to support manufacturing volumes, and supervising production staff to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Requirements
- Work along with BU Leaders, BD Team to formulate growth strategies for the business.
- Responsibility for the Field Service Engineers and activity planning within the assigned geography
- Support staffing of the Field Service Engineering workforce.
- Ensure the project is executed in accordance with the Contract / PO and specifications.
- Establish and manage project schedules with internal and external customers to meet the project schedule.
- Create and follow BU plans, forecasts, and overall business activities.
- Resolve discrepancies and report on the profitability of project, and flow work.
- Review project scope to determine the schedule, budgets, procedures / processes necessary to execute the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of work.
- Update milestone billing reports and ensures accurate invoices are sent in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Ensures the availability of tools, equipment and materials required to drive productivity in Field Service Teams.
- Bi-yearly career planning meetings with team members at each stage of their careers.
- Review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Adheres to budget by monitoring job cost and implementing cost saving solutions
