The Quality Assurance Specialist is required to maintain quality system certification compliance in multi-certification business units. This includes all quality department responsible duties to measure and report the performance of the Quality Systems.
Requirements
- Support QA functions including quality planning, preventive actions, NCR activity, CAPA, and RCA.
- Assist conducting root cause analysis meetings.
- Report on Aging NCR's / CAR's and verify action effectiveness.
- Ensure feedback loop communication from customer (service) to manufacturing and / or engineering is maintained, including continuous improvement actions.
- Investigate issues impacting quality to identify corrective action and ensure implementation is effective.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct Quality System internal process audits.
- Assist with Quality System Measures (graphs, KPI's, department objectives).
- Team with Supply Chain to monitor Vendor performance.
- Review supplier qualifications.
- Assist with audits of key vendor facilities.
- Monitor vendor nonconformances and trends.
- Participate in external audits (customer audits), and registrar.
- Analyze audit samples for trends.
- Assist with Quality System procedure and work instructions development & updates.
- Interact with personnel at all levels of company.
- Available to answer questions about Quality Management Systems from company personnel.
