Description
Perform Receiving, 1st Piece and In-Process Inspections for work in process. Verify and document that materials are manufactured to customer-supplied blueprints. This position is responsible for maintaining acceptable quality levels during production.
Requirements
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Measure and document part dimensions using measurement tools
Maintain company quality systems
Follow written and oral instructions
Follow all company safety and operations policies
Qualifications :
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, trigonometry and computers
Proficiency with micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gauges, gauge pins, protractors, hardness testers and optical comparators
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Detail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently
Motivation to learn and develop with WLS
Experience in a manufacturing environment with an ISO9001 quality system preferred
Successful completion of written tests during interview, including Shop Math, Blueprint reading and hands on measurement
