Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Project Manager and Service Sales Lead to our team in Hawthorne, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities that help us accomplish our goal of servicing customers through the inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation and modifications of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems.

As a Project Manager and Service Sales Lead, you will:
- Assist in obtaining information needed for each job such as Purchase Order numbers, tax-exempt form, insurance certificates, deficiency information, and payroll information.
- Assist in the scheduling of service worked based on awarded projects and incoming emergency service calls.
- Follow up with customer on deficiencies or other quoted work.
- Utilize existing sprinkler customer base to generate cross selling opportunities.
- Book and create jobs for awarded projects and service calls within the system; prepares costs for invoicing after the job is complete along with job financial review.
- Assist with the invoicing of customers, follow-up for collections of customers for the service department.
- Preparation of job start up and completion documents.
- Attend project meetings as required.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other project trades.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED with associate degree preferred.
- Prior industry experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Good oral, written, telephone, and customer service skills.
- Good time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist both internal and external customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and regulations.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, with AutoCAD knowledge.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the design and field personnel working on their assigned jobs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office & field environment.
- Mostly sedentary role with the need to move about the office, shop, and job sites.
- May require light lifting.
- Requires working on computers and phones consistently throughout the day.
- Requires travel to jobs sites.
Starting wage range: $90,000-$110,000 per year
