W.M. Jordan Company is seeking a full-time Safety Manager with at least 5 years of safety experience in the Richmond, VA region. Safety Managers support all trade partners and work closely with all members of the project team to form an effective safety program. Traveling included throughout the western, southern, and central Virginia regions.

W.M. Jordan Company is seeking a full-time Safety Manager with at least 5 years of safety experience in the Richmond, VA region. Safety Managers support all trade partners and work closely with all members of the project team to form an effective safety program. Traveling included throughout the western, southern, and central Virginia regions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regular Inspections/Audits of Sites & Offices
- Manage W. M. Jordan’s Safety and Health Program
- Conduct safety training for W. M. Jordan personnel and Trade Partners
- Reinforce W. M. Jordan safety culture
- Track leading and lagging indicators
- Incident investigation and documentation
- Support W. M. Jordan safety initiatives in all regions (across three states)
- Serve on the W. M. Jordan safety committee
- Five (5) years of experience in a safety role (construction preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to resolve conflict
- Excellent listening skills and detailed documentation
- Understand of industry relevant Spanish
- CHST, OSHA 30, CPR, and EM385 certifications required
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam and various software
- Security clearance for federal projects required
- Valid drivers license
- CQC experience preferred
