The Day to Day of an Administrative Assistant :
Reporting to the Supervisor of Administrative Services, the Administrative Assistant provides support to their assigned managers, supervisors and staff through collaboration with fellow Administrative Assistants, creativity and productivity tools. At times, the Administrative Assistant will coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, complete and submit travel expense documents, and support event planning. More often, the Administrative Assistant will schedule appointments, organize calendars, and manage phone calls and emails for supervisors and managers. With an understanding of a variety of technology the Administrative Assistant will support meetings using videoconferencing, communications applications, and other productivity tools while utilizing internal databases and applications to support managers & supervisors. The ideal Administrative Assistant ensures that all their duties are completed accurately, timely, and delivered with high quality.
