The Product Manager is tasked with leading the development and management of our building envelope product lines, focusing on waterproofing and air barrier technologies. The role requires a candidate with a proven background in product management within the building materials sector. The ideal individual will bring expertise in waterproofing and air barrier products and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across functions to spearhead product strategy, foster innovation, and secure market leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s goals and market needs.
- Guide the product lifecycle from inception to market launch, and beyond, ensuring products meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, define customer needs, and understand competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure product success.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve product development timelines and objectives.
- Manage product performance metrics and implement improvements based on market feedback.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical and market expertise to sales and marketing teams to support product positioning and sales efforts.
- Monitor regulatory and industry standards impacting the product line to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.
- Participate in industry conferences and professional associations to represent the company and gather insights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or advanced professional certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically in the building materials sector, with a focus on waterproofing and air barrier products.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Industry certificates such as CSI, CDT, ICRI accreditation desired but not required.
