SITE COORDINATION MANAGER – (DPM)
Job Summary:
The Site Coordination Manager (SCM) is directly responsible for assessing in-field site conditions for proposed and active projects. By focusing on the dynamic relationship between the client, general contractor and design team, the SCM will perform preliminary construction and post construction site walks to identify field conditions that can impact the design, construction and occupancy of WT projects and report these findings to relevant team members and participate in project scope meetings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple job sites around the continental US to review, assess and report on site conditions for active and proposed WT projects.
- Work directly with general contractors, WT project managers, construction managers and designers to accurately report relevant field conditions in a timely manner.
- Prepare clear and conscise field condition reports for the team.
- Participate in regular program and project meetings.
- Help program leaders develop efficient processes and standards for delivery of critical site information.
- Maintain a strict schedule and schedule awareness to ensure site information is delivered on time to relevant project teams.
- Track travel schedules and maintain accurate, up-to-date expense reporting in the company expense reporting software.
- Adhere to draftPros/WT Group travel and other mandatory policies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand a set of construction documents.
- Experience with field condition review and inspection (ie: you know what to look for in an active construction project)
- A strong attention to detail and a high awareness of field conditions and situations that impact design and pricing decisions.
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Able to build rapport easily with both clients, GC’s and WT project teams.
- Proficient in the use and application of project technology as required.
- A professional demeaner and the ability to remain calm and cool-headed in stressful situations.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license and be able to rent cars.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any construction-related field of study or demonstrated experience as a tradesman with the skills and abilities described above.
- Minimum (5) years of relevant experience
