We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and movements.
- Assist in demand planning by analyzing sales trends and forecasting needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support category management initiatives by providing insights on product performance.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist with inventory organization and storage.
- Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize inventory flow.
- Engage with e-commerce platforms to ensure accurate product availability online.
Qualifications
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members across departments.
