Human Resources and Human Safety Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions as well as implementing and training our team on safety programs and procedures. This position requires a general understanding of human resources and human safety processes and programs, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive workplace environment. This postion will assist the VP Of Operations as well as the Managment team to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings and managing applications through platforms like UltiPro and Lever.
• Develop and implement safety Programs
• Update team member records and folders.
• Utilize Oracle for workforce management tasks, including tracking employee attendance and leave requests.
• Provide administrative support to the VP of Operations.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

• General knowledge of HR practices and performance management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
