Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring for All Departments:
- Recruiting and sourcing candidates.
- Conducting interviews and managing the hiring process.
- Overseeing internship programs.
- Process Development:
- Creating and implementing HR processes and procedures.
- Developing comprehensive onboarding materials.
- Training:
- Delivering company-specific training ("The Nash Way").
- Managing onboarding processes.
- Assisting managers with team professional development initiatives.
- Employee Administration:
- Weekly payroll processing
- Investigating and resolving employee issues.
- Conducting "Right People Right Seat" reviews.
- Managing employee feedback processes.
- Analyzing benefits and compensation and presenting yearly benefit options.
- Administering quarterly conversations and annual performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to new situations.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Team-oriented with a focus on accountability and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to a communication-focused culture.
- Experience with an ERP system (SAGE preferred).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of employment law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
