What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Lawyer position at W3Global Inc.?
Job Description
Job Description
Tired of feeling unappreciated in your current role?
Tired of being micromanaged by your uncaring supervising attorney?
Tired of feeling like you're not going anywhere and will never make partner?
We understand and we have a place for you because we will treat you better than any employer has. We are a fast-growing national law firm that is looking for an attorney who wants to join our supportive team in Denver. We have had tremendous success with our Seattle and Houston locations, and now we are expanding into Denver.
We view our firm as a start-up that has huge growth ahead of it rather than an old, established firm that is set in its ways.
We view this position as a long-term career with a partnership track. While we have physical office locations, this is a remote position, so the associate can work from home. However, the associate must have the ability to commute to Denver and surrounding counties for court and meet with prospective clients in person if they request it.
On the skills side, we are seeking someone who has experience handling a family law case from the beginning, including meeting and signing up a client, to the end of the case, which includes mediation and trial. Experience with estate planning is a plus since we do estate planning as well.
The ideal candidate is also someone who can work well on their own without a lot of supervision or direction since our culture is one where we let people handle their cases as they see fit. We do not believe in nor tolerate micro-managers.
We're looking for someone who believes in this Steve Jobs quote :
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out of your inner voice. And the most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."
It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do. Rather, it makes sense to hire smart people and have them tell you what they want to do."
