Carpenter Finishing lead - (luxury cabinetry)
As the Finishing Lead, you will be in charge of our Finishing team, making sure every cabinet meets our high-quality standards. You will work closely with the team, helping them improve their skills while ensuring our finishing process is smooth, consistent, and efficient.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will not only manage the team but also work alongside them to ensure excellent results. The perfect candidate is a team player who also knows how to set and maintain high standards.
What You'll Do
Lead the Finishing Team - Work with and guide the team to ensure all cabinets have the best finish possible.
Maintain Quality Standards - Make sure our finishes are smooth, even, and consistent every time.
Develop Finishing Formulas - Create and fine-tune stain and paint formulas for the best look and durability.
Teach and Train - Help team members improve their skills in spraying, toning, conditioning, and finishing techniques.
Ensure Safety and Compliance - Make sure everyone follows safety rules and finishing best practices.
Improve Efficiency - Find ways to make the finishing process faster and smoother while keeping quality high.
Solve Problems - Troubleshoot finishing issues like color matching, adhesion, or drying problems.
Keep Things Organized - Make sure tools, materials, and work areas are well-
maintained and ready to use.
