Job Overview : Cash Management Administrator (CMA)
The Cash Management Administrator (CMA) supports the Mutual Fund Transfer Agent team by managing daily financial transactions, reporting, and cash management to ensure accurate record-keeping for mutual fund clients. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks experience, a background in banking and money movement, and a detail-oriented, organized approach to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or Finance.
Experience : 2-3 years in financial services, with strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and back-office banking reconciliation.
Experience with mutual funds, securities, and wealth management is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
Reconcile accounts between bank records and mutual fund transfer agent systems.
Monitor cash payment queues and perform reconciliation with relevant parties.
Handle transaction exceptions and resolve discrepancies.
Track and resolve failed transactions with custodians and counterparties.
Initiate money movement via Fed wire, ACH, or check.
Process EFTPS payments and manage client reporting (monthly, quarterly, etc.) in compliance with industry regulations.
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external service partners to provide consistent financial data.
Additional Duties :
Assist in training new staff and update policies and procedures as needed.
Act as a subject matter expert to improve operational efficiency.
Contribute to process improvement projects and system upgrades.
May assist in covering mutual fund call center support during high volume periods.
Participate in data projects and internal meetings as directed by the Transfer Agent Manager.
