Chemical Sales Account Manager - Energy Sector
We are currently seeking a Chemical Sales Executive with experience in the Energy Sector (gas, oil, battery, etc.) to drive the growth of our specialty chemical manufacturing business. This role involves managing key multinational customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities in performance chemical markets.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and expand business relationships with key multinational customers.
Identify and secure profitable new accounts in target markets.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Develop and execute annual strategic and key account plans.
Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and pricing recommendations.
Negotiate and establish commercial agreements.
Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and budget reports.
Travel as needed (approximately 40%-50%) to support business development.
Key Qualifications :
8 years of direct field sales or business development experience in chemical product sales , with a focus on the energy market .
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience in chemical sales).
Strong ability to analyze financial data and manage business operations strategically.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to gather and interpret market intelligence to drive business decisions.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging specialized chemical manufacturing capabilities, including chlorinations, brominations, esterifications, acylations, alkylations, sulfonations, and reactive distillations , to deliver value-driven solutions for customers.
