Position OverviewThe Senior Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in handling complex construction contracts and disputes, leveraging their expertise to provide top-tier legal services to our clients
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and review construction contracts, pleadings, and motions
Manage document discovery and respond to written discovery requests
Conduct and defend depositions
Argue motions in court
Prepare for and attend mediations, trials, and arbitrations
Provide strategic advice to clients on construction-related legal matters
Mentor junior associates and contribute to the firm's knowledge base
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
5-7 years of experience in construction law and civil litigation
Active membership in the California State Bar
Proven track record in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and alternative dispute resolution methods
Experience in preparing for and attending trials and arbitrations
Knowledge of California construction laws and regulations
Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices
