Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and be proficient in industry-specific software to assess project costs accurately.
Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
Utilize software such as PlanSwift to create detailed estimates
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase
Requirements
Some proficiency in construction estimating software
Strong knowledge of construction management principles
Ability to interpret contracts and project documents
Experience in cost control and budget management within the construction industry
Ability to build accurate estimates based on project requirements
