Primary Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the President and in-house marketing team to create target customer lists and lead the go-to-market plan to uncover opportunities in North America.
Network, build strong relationships, develop opportunities, and win new business with existing and prospective OEM and Contract Manufacturer (CM) customers in the MedTech, Healthcare, Pharma, and BioTech / Life Science sectors.
Work closely with Field Sales, Inside Sales, Engineering, and Estimating teams on RFQs and onboarding new customers.
Coordinate the transition of new business and account management to the New Product Release (NPR) Team upon receipt of initial orders, and provide support as required through production launch.
Attend trade shows, supplier events, and industry gatherings to build brand awareness and foster relationships.
Engage with strategic material suppliers to share market insights and develop strategies to win new business.
Build and maintain a strong new business development revenue pipeline, track project status in CRM, and provide progress reports as required.
Manage, mentor, and grow the sales team effectively.
Major Qualifications / Skills Requirements :
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of US healthcare sales and business development experience, with a preference for exposure to single-use medical devices.
Proven track record of prospecting and closing sales in MedTech and healthcare, selling to medical OEMs and CMs.
Experience selling or using adhesives, films, foams, fibers, non-woven, and other flexible materials is strongly preferred.
High level of professionalism with the ability to present technical and commercial information effectively to diverse audiences, including sourcing / procurement, engineering, operations, and C-Suite executives.
Strong organization, presentation, and project management skills.
Excellent listening and communication abilities in written and verbal formats.
Leadership skills to guide teams and lead projects effectively.
Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills.
Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or Dynamics to track sales pipeline activity.
Ability to respond to commercial and technical inquiries from customers confidently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel up to 35% within North America, primarily in the US.
Desired Qualifications :
Experience in the printing, converting, or contract manufacturing industry servicing MedTech, healthcare, Pharma, or BioTech / Life Science.
Engineering or technical education or relevant work experience is a plus.
