Join Northern New England's premier boat dealer located at the largest full-service marina along the Maine coast. We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team and operate our mobile service unit.
Position Overview :
The ideal candidate will possess experience with outboard and inboard / outboard mechanical systems, specifically Yamaha or Mercury-certified engines. This role requires creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on outboard and inboard / outboard marine engines.
Operate mobile service equipment to provide on-site customer support.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using industry tools and techniques.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure service excellence.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in Yamaha or Mercury engines.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a mobile service vehicle.
