Experience
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of estimating in the restoration industry.
- Expertise: Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software for mitigation and repair projects (commercial & residential).
- Restoration Knowledge: Experience estimating water and fire damage restoration.
- Basic understanding of building exterior envelopes.
- Ability to read and interpret Xactimate estimates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Project Management:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling and timeline management.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Attitude: A proactive, "Can Do" mindset.
- Large loss estimating experience.
- Established relationships with insurance adjusters and property management professionals.
- Hands-on construction experience in:
- Siding and trim replacement
- Mold remediation
- Window and door installation
- Building codes & standards
- Decks, framing, roofing, and basic finish carpentry
- Ability to screen and hire employees/subcontractors.
- Familiarity with Dash/Nextgear software (or willingness to learn).
- IICRC Certifications (Mold Remediation, Odor Removal, ASD, Fire & Smoke).
- Experience using Sage/Timberline software.
