Full Job Description
Primary Objectives : This position will be responsible for all 18-20 Employees of the company as well as oversee and coordinate all phases of operations. Primary responsibilities consist of P&Ls, sales, marketing, distribution, maintenance, testing and customer service for all divisions. A critical part of this role is to manage strong relationships. These relationships encompass both internal connections with employees across all Newman Properties companies and external relationships with suppliers and customers. In addition, this position would be responsible for approving costs associated with plan development, image standards, equipment and safety measures related to Empire's business operations and facilities. Additional responsibilities include negotiations with outside vendors and performance reviews of monthly financials and budgets.
Major Areas of Accountability
Strategic Leadership :
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Provide visionary leadership to inspire and motivate employees towards the company's mission and goals.
Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to position the company competitively within the industry.
Operational Excellence :
Oversee all aspects of company operations, including sales, marketing, distribution, and customer service.
Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to optimize productivity and profitability.
Implement best practices and quality standards to uphold the company's reputation for excellence in service delivery.
Customer Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with fuel station owners, operators, and other key customers.
Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor solutions that meet their requirements and exceed expectations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Financial Management :
Develop and manage the company's annual budget, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies, manage costs, and maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Team Leadership and Development :
Manage a diverse team of professionals, including sales representatives, service technicians, dispatchers, and Sturdevant Signs division in Pennsylvania.
Provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure team members are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
Qualifications
Operational :
Previous expertise in the management and oversight of the following divisions including service, sales, distribution & warehouse functions within a company. Must possess the capacity to maintain high-quality customer service, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. Additional qualifications required are the ability to manage service teams, develop service strategies, monitor performance metrics, and resolve complex customer issues. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, particularly in leading the customer service department at an executive level.
Education / Experience :
Minimum education required is a bachelor's degree or 20 years' experience
At least 5 years' experience using Microsoft Office
At least 10 years' experience in commercial facility maintenance
Experience as a Project Manager
Strong background in fuel station and C-Store construction / maintenance
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Quick efficient problem-solving ability
Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems
