We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Assist with case management, including reviewing and analyzing case documents.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Analyze and strategize legal solutions for firm business clients in their day- to-day operations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Admitted to practice in Connecticut state court (and ability to gain admission in New York).
3-5 years of litigation experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Savviness with current technology in the legal space, e.g., O365 applications and practice management applications.
