AutoCAD Inventor / Designer

Requirements

• Safety is the number one priority to us and we require this to be a focus on all projects.
• Develop and design custom projects.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images.
• Experience with Adobe Imaging software (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop), computer aided design (CAD) software and graphics software.
• Modify and refine designs, using working models to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
• Hands on reverse Engineering and Design experience including tolerance stack up, fit and function.
• Coordinate the look and function of product lines.
• Confer with engineering, marketing, production, or sales departments, or with customers, to establish and evaluate design concepts.
• Design graphic material for use as illustrations.
• Functional use of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project a plus.
• File management including: revision history, engineering change request, create, maintain, and sustain part number catalogs.
• Previous experience in Project Management strongly preferred.
  
  

Additional responsibilities:

• Minimum 3-year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
• Keen attention to detail is required.
• Blueprint reading and ability to layout the project direction.
• Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
• Commitment toward quality, safety, and continual improvement.
• Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to work frequent overtime with ability to travel as needed
