What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwork Estimator position at W3Global?
- Our client have been in manufacturing architectural millwork in New Jersey and Florida for over 40 years.
- It is NOT subject to remote work and is a full-time office position.
- Estimate millwork projects and actively maintain customer relationships through bid submission and follow up.
- Analyze and interpret construction drawings, specifications and addendums to prepare quantity take-offs, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize the pricing module to build cost estimates.
- Work in coordination with senior management and ownership to ensure customers experience with CWI is consistent with our core values.
- Build and maintain relationships with Andersen Interior Contracting (drywall division) to improve coordination and capitalize on packaging opportunities.
- Job Responsibilities include:
- Estimate projects as needed.
- Visit customers periodically, attend project interviews, pre-bid meetings and site visits.
- Review / Evaluate bids as needed for completeness and accuracy.
- Periodically consult with shop and field supervisors to ensure estimating rates and construction methods are accurate.
- Solicit vendors for pricing information.
- Prepare professionally written, clear proposals.
- Follow up on all proposals submitted and maintain the estimating log with status updates, probabilities, etc.
- Regularly call and network with current and prospective clients to obtain new leads and relationships while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Build solid, profitable relationships with clients through the delivery of exceptional service characterized by mutual respect, understanding and trust.
- This is a Full-Time, Monday through Friday Position from 7:00AM - 4:00PM.
