Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sr. Estimator. The Sr. Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, evaluating subcontractor bids, and ensuring cost-efficient solutions. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines. The Estimator is responsible for developing and completing estimates based on written and/or oral description from project managers. Must be able to estimate based on photos.

Qualifications
- Planning, Estimating, Cost Engineering Project Activities, Scheduling, and Project Management skills
- Understanding of construction processes and electric vehicle infrastructure
- Knowledge of electrical systems and charging station technologies
- Experience with bidding processes and subcontractor negotiations
- Management of material vendor relationships, including packaging and presentation of RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs
- Ability to provide estimates based on photographs, videos and oral descriptions
- Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricing
- Understanding of electrical construction related to utility transmission through building distribution
- Understanding of power delivery, transformers, battery systems
- Understanding of engineering scopes, including electrical, structural, civil, and permitting
- Experience with design/build and Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC)
- Experience with McCormick/Accubid software required
- Train and develop skills of estimators and or Site Assessors
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 7-10 years of estimating experience preferred
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPE, CEP, PMP) are a plus
