Service and Installation Manager
Why this job?
Work outdoors with your hands
Four ten-hour work days a week, leaving you with three off each week. This position will involve working in the field directly with customers repairing their equipment, and providing quotes for new installations. Eventually you will be expected to train and provide management of other field techs, and run the department autonomously.
Wear 100% cotton blue uniform shirts

Be a valued member of a small company
Enjoy some independence
Most of your time at work will be in the field. Once trained you will not need to come to the office every day, and will drive directly to customers' locations instead. If you live anywhere from Santa Rosa to San Francisco or Oakland we can work with you. Our office, workshop, and warehouse is located in the Bel Marin Keys industrial park in Novato. Our customers are homeowners, restaurants, and contractors.
Wages And Benefits
40 hours per week, weekdays, 6 AM start time, 10-hour days, plus some OT
Company van
Paid time off commences after six months at three weeks earned per year
Six paid holidays
Company-wide incentive bonus plan
Health insurance commences after 6 months (HDHP)
Company provides 100% cotton uniform shirts, and jacket
You may work in jeans or shorts

Background, Qualifications, And Skill Sets
Provide your own hand tools
Have Experience In One Or More Of The Following
Plumbing
Electrical
Appliance Repair
Property Maintenance
Field Service
Have a fairly-clean DMV record
Read and write neatly in English
Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with consistent accuracy
Use iPhones and iPads
Lift fifty pounds up and down a ladder
Work well independently
Work well as part of a team
Have a history of being reliable and responsible
Have neat personal grooming habits and good hygiene
If you would like going to different restaurants and homes in the bay area to work for an hour or a few days, would enjoy meeting different people, welcome responsibility, appreciate time outdoors, and feel best working with your hands and hand tools, then you will enjoy working here.
