- Possession of a family and child health postgraduate certificate or the equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of primary health care principles and the social determinants of health and their application to practice.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, including well developed written, verbal and group facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated well developed problem solving and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multicultural issues, including indigenous populations.
