The Donor Engagement Specialist plays a vital part in supporting the operations of the development
department. This role will focus on maintaining the relationship between Wabash Center and its donors through
stewardship and fundraising events to enhance community awareness and increase donations to the
Organization.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individual fundraising strategies to meet organizational
goals. - Researching and identifying prospective donors.
- Championing and assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of various organizational events aimed
at fundraising and increasing brand awareness. - Curating the donor experience by creating tailored engagement plans and donor recognition to maximize their
giving capacity and preferences. - Managing and tracking inputs in donor database to ensure accuracy and up-to-date relationship information.
- Stewarding existing donors to maintain engagement and increase individual giving.
- Raising awareness of Wabash Center engagement opportunities through education and story telling.
- Making direct asks on behalf of the organization for donations and in-kind gifts to Wabash Center including
solicitation of major gifts. - Assisting in the preparation of donor-related marketing materials.
- Managing and tracking inputs in donor database to ensure accuracy and up-to-date relationship information.
- Help with special assignments and projects as directed by Director of Development.
