Phlebotomists must have the necessary minimum knowledge skills to provide basic services to patients and customers of all ages. Phlebotomists must maintain a professional disposition at all times when taking care of patients. Phlebotomist collects venous and capillary blood specimens from patient, urine / timed urine specimen collection, DOT and NON-DOT urine drug collection, plates culture specimens to appropriate media, performs waived testing, and performs various office and clerical duties of the department including answering the phone and faxing reports.
Shift : As needed, evenings / rotating weekends
Requirements :
- Working to obtain high school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy licensure preferred.
- Clinical experience preferred but not required
- May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends, or other shifts.
