What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Chef/Caterer position at Wabash General Hospital?
The Culinary Chef/Caterer is responsible for preparing food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements, timing preparation to meet service schedules, and handling food in portion control to prevent food waste and assure high quality products. The Culinary Chef/Caterer will provide service and interact with customers of all ages. Assists with care and cleanliness of equipment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, some weekends. Hours: Vary based on events and meetings
Requirements:
- High School Graduate preferred.
- Previous training and/or experience in quantity food preparation in an institutional setting preferred.
- Have sanitation certificate or willing to obtain.
- May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
