Hardware Store and Tool Rental Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our rental equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service. If you have a knack for problem-solving and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you. We are a full line Retail Hardware store with a large tool equipment operation. Candidate will be working with customers in ALL areas of the hardware store and rental operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rental equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of events as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with staff and clients.
• Basic sales skills to promote maintenance services when necessary.
• Proficient in general maintenance tasks including small engine service and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
